Stenball Group and Connected Safety Net: Supporting Mobile Site Operations Across the UK
Connected Safety Net has successfully implemented its platform at Stenball Group Ltd, a leading commercial refurbishment and construction specialist.

The project represents Connected Safety Net’s first major deployment within the commercial refurbishment and construction sector and supports highly mobile site operations across the UK.

Since 2004, Stenball has built an outstanding reputation for high-quality refurbishment and construction projects across hospitality, leisure, retail, commercial, public sector and residential markets. Their commitment to quality, innovation and delivery aligns closely with Connected Safety Net’s own values.

The Requirement
Stenball’s teams operate across construction and refurbishment sites, where engineers and site teams need to capture inspections, site information, actions and project data as part of their day-to-day work.

Working in mobile site environments also means teams may need to continue capturing important information even when connectivity is limited.

The Solution
Working closely with the Stenball team, Connected Safety Net configured CSN to support highly mobile site operations across the UK.

One of the most significant outcomes was the enhancement of Offline Mode. This enables engineers and site teams to capture inspections, site information, actions and project data even when connectivity is limited, with information automatically synchronising once reconnected.
These enhancements strengthen the platform for every organisation operating in challenging environments.

Customer Feedback
Kevin Burn, Health & Safety Officer at Stenball Group, said:

“From the outset, the CSN team took the time to understand how our projects operate in the real world. Rather than asking us to change our processes, they worked alongside us to adapt the platform to meet our operational requirements. The enhancements to offline capability have made a genuine difference to our teams working across construction and refurbishment sites, and the collaborative approach throughout the project has been outstanding. It has felt like developing a solution together, rather than simply implementing software.”

Connected Safety Net Perspective
Paul Richardson, Group Managing Director at Connected Safety Net, said:

“One of the things I enjoy most is working with customers who challenge us to think differently. The Stenball team have been exceptional partners throughout this project, bringing practical ideas, constructive feedback and a genuine desire to innovate together. Their support has helped us create new capabilities that will benefit organisations across many industries. We’d like to thank everyone at Stenball for their trust, patience and collaborative spirit. Partnerships like this are exactly how great software continues to evolve.”

The Outcome
The Stenball project demonstrates something Connected Safety Net strongly believes: technology should not force organisations to change how they work. Technology should adapt to the way great organisations already operate.

Connected Safety Net is proud of what both teams have achieved together and looks forward to continuing to support Stenball as they deliver exceptional projects across the UK.
